A Woody Guthrie Tribute Concert will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11, at Beluthahatchee as part of the Sundays at Stetson’s concert series. James Hawkins, Chuck Hardwicke and Jesse Sawyer will be featured.
Hawkins and Hardwicke are longtime award-winning favorites on the Florida Folk festival circuit, and Sawyer is an up-and-coming Gamble Rogers Folk Festival young performer.
No reservations are required, though admission is limited to the first 50 guests. These concerts sell out every time, so it’s important to arrive early. This is an indoor concert.
A donation of $10 per attendee is suggested.
The concert series is sponsored by the Stetson Kennedy Foundation, St. Johns County Parks and the North Florida Folk Network.
Beluthahatchee is located at 1523 S.R. 13, Fruit Cove. It’s at the end of a short dirt road, ¼ mile south of Roberts Road.
