Rise welcomes new residents

Residents began to move into Rise at Nocatee, a new 55-plus active living community one mile from Nocatee Town Center, in mid-August. About 25 have taken up residence in the much-anticipated community located at 1200 Preservation Trail, Ponte Vedra Beach.

More residents are expected to settle in during October and November, according to General Manager Jerry Shafer. In fact, newly completed Rise at Nocatee is already 26% pre-leased.

“I just got moved in myself,” Shafer said.

In all, Rise at Nocatee offers 59 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments in four-story Building 1000. Five-story Building 2000 contains 119 one- and two-bedroom apartments. Floor plans start at 683 square feet and go up to 1,538 square feet. All first-level apartments will have screened-in porches.

The latest news is that the pool is now open.

“We’ve got all the pool furniture out there and it looks awesome,” said Shafer.

The community’s lifestyle coordinator begins work this month, so daily activities will soon be offered.

In May, Rise announced that its 10,000-square-foot clubhouse had opened. The clubhouse features a yoga room, fitness room, music and media room, arts and crafts room, game room and bar area.
